Auction Of Finals Game-Worn Jerseys, Game-Used Puck Continues

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL in association with The MeiGray Group announced that for the first time in history, the game-worn jerseys, goal-scoring pucks and game-used pucks from the 2005 Kelly Cup Finals are available to collectors around the globe.

One set of 20 home white jerseys from the National Conference champion
Trenton Titans and one set of 20 road navy blue jerseys from the American Conference champion Florida Everblades are up for bid until Tuesday at 3 p.m. ET. Every jersey being auctioned is affixed with the official 2005 Kelly Cup Finals patch. The jerseys were worn in Game 3 on Friday at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, N.J. and in Game 4 on Saturday. Trenton leads the series 3-2 with Game 6 scheduled for Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. ET at Germain Arena in Estero, Fla. Game 7, if necessary, would be played at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday in Florida.

In addition to the jerseys, the pucks from the goals scored and other game-used pucks from each period of the first five games are available for bid. The custom pucks, which feature the names of both the Trenton Titans and the Florida Everblades bordering the 2005 Kelly Cup Finals logo, are not available for purchase anywhere else.

Every jersey has been authenticated by an ECHL-MeiGray Group representative. Every puck is taken from the ice by an on-ice official and handed to an off-ice official, who turns it over to ECHL-MeiGray Group representative within moments to ensure absolute authenticity.

Fans can access the auction at the ECHL web site
(echl.com) and at The MeiGray Group web site (meigray.com) or go directly to the auction site (echlauction.at.edeal.com) to bid on the historic game-worn jerseys, goal-scoring pucks and game-used pucks from the 2005 Kelly Cup Finals.

The ECHL and The MeiGray Group have raised more than $76,000 for the Twin Towers Fund (2002), Karmanos Cancer Institute (2003), Make-A-Wish Foundation (2004), and the Professional Hockey Players' Association Health and Welfare Fund and Membership Assistance Program (2005) by auctioning off jerseys worn by the players during the 2002 ECHL All-Star Game in Trenton, N.J, the 2003 ECHL All-Star Game in Estero, Fla., the 2004 ECHL All-Star Game in Peoria, Ill., the 2005 ECHL All-Star Game in Reading, Pa., and the 2005 PHPA Captains' Club Jersey auction.

The leading distributor of game-worn hockey jerseys and "Official Game-Worn Jersey Source of the ECHL," The MeiGray Group has sold more than 850 game-worn ECHL jerseys in 2004-05, nearly 900 game-worn ECHL jerseys in 2003-04 and has sold more than 2,650 since it began selling game-worn ECHL jerseys in 2002-03.
