BILOXI, Miss. � The Mississippi Sea Wolves dropped three consecutive games last week in a span of three nights all on the road in the Carolina�s.
On Thursday, Pee Dee topped Mississippi 5-4 at the Florence Civic Center in Florence, South Carolina. The Sea Wolves fell 7-4 against the Charlotte Checkers on Friday and in the second straight game at Cricket Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday, Mississippi lost 4-1.
Through 47-of-72 games, the Sea Wolves have compiled a 24-19-4 overall record for 52 points.
Mississippi is in fourth place in the ECHL South Division and ranks ninth in the 12-team American Conference, where the top eight teams make the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
The Sea Wolves are 13-10-1 at home, 11-9-3 on the road, 3-2 in overtime games and 4-2 in shootouts.

The 21-year-old Corbeil has recorded 11 goals, 35 points and 50 penalty minutes in 45 games this season. Selected to the 2005 Coors Light ECHL All-Star Game, the 5-foot-11 and 185-pound Corbeil collected an assist in the game held on January 26 in Reading, Pennsylvania. A native of Laval, Quebec, Corbeil is in his second season of professional hockey and first year with Mississippi.
GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK � Phil Sauve made 76 saves on 86 shots in two games last week only to drop both decisions at Charlotte. The 24-year-old Sauve has compiled a 3-2-1 record this season with Mississippi to go along with a 3.71 goals-against average and .900 save percentage. In 2003-04, the 6-foot and 195-pound Sauve appeared in 17 games with the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League and finished up the campaign with the American Hockey League Hershey Bears. Hailing from Montreal, Quebec, Sauve, who was born in Buffalo, New York is in his fifth professional hockey season.
