Sea Wolves Impress At Skills Competition

READING, Pa. � Mississippi Sea Wolves left wing Jeff Hutchins and center Nicolas Corbeil made their mark for the American Conference at the 2005 Coors Light ECHL All-Star Skills Competition before 6,000 at the Sovereign Center.

Hutchins, 26, finished second among eight shooters in the Hardest Shot competition registering a slapshot at 92.1 miles per hour. Toledo�s Dan Eberly won the competition with a 97.0 mph slapshot. In the Breakaway Relay event, Hutchins missed on a shot against Idaho Steelheads goaltender Frank Doyle.

Corbeil, 21, hit four targets on seven shots in the Accuracy Shooting event, finishing just behind the winners. Gwinnett�s
Brett Engelhardt and Derek Edwardson of Atlantic City both hit four targets on six shots to take the event. Corbeil missed in the Breakaway Relay while shooting against goaltender Barry Brust of the host Reading Royals.

Flagship radio station WGCM-AM 1240 will be broadcasting the 2005 Coors Light ECHL All-Star Game live tomorrow beginning with the pregame show at 5:45 p.m.

The ECHL, in association with Yahoo! Broadcast, is also making the telecast available online with live broadband video for the third year in a row. The Sea Wolves take to the ice at 7:35 p.m. on Friday
against the Pee Dee Pride at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. Promotions consist of Military 2-for-1, sponsored by Keesler Federal Credit Union, which offers all military personnel, active or retired, two tickets for the price of one by showing military identification at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum box office.
