GREENVILLE, S.C. The Mississippi Sea Wolves scored three goals in the third period to come-from-behind and send the game to extra time before defeating the Greenville Grrrowl 5-4 in the shootout before 3,927 at the BI-LO Center.
With the win, the Sea Wolves run their win streak to three in a row at the halfway point of the season.
We did a lot of great things offensively and we found a way, Mississippi coach Bob Woods said. We played sloppy at times defensively but we got the job done. Were coming around. It was a character building victory and a nice way to head into the All-Star break.
Mississippi (19-14-3, 41 points) connected the first goal of the game at 8:01 of the opening period. Jay Legault broke in on a 2-on-1 break with Travis Lisabeth, who took the pass and scored his ninth goal of the season beating goaltender Ryan Person, who was making his Greenville debut. Mike Jarmuth also collected an assist.

Less than two minutes later, Greenville went ahead 2-1. Scotty Balan batted the puck out of mid-air at the low right circle to net his third goal of the year. Assists went to Colin Pepperall and Mallette, who registered his second point of the game.
Just eight seconds into the third, the Grrrowl grabbed a two-goal lead. Bergin buried a Mallette rebound shot for his second of the game and make it 3-1 for Greenville.
