BILOXI, Miss. � The Mississippi Sea Wolves of the ECHL announced today that right wing Lee Jacobson has been loaned to the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks of the American Hockey League, while defenseman Brian Escobedo (EHS-coh-bee-doh) has been activated off the injured reserve.

Jacobson, 23, receives the first AHL call up of his professional career becoming the first Mississippi player to advance to the AHL this season. The 6-foot-4 and 230-pound Jacobson leads the ECHL with 15 major penalties. A native of Chicago, Jacobson has appeared in 22 games with the Sea Wolves accumulating 91 penalty minutes. Jacobson is in his second season of professional hockey.

Jacobson will be available to make his AHL debut at 7:35 p.m. ET tomorrow as the Mighty Ducks host the Hamilton Bulldogs at the Cincinnati Gardens.

Escobedo, 22, missed nine games after being placed on the injured reserve on December 4. The 6-foot and 180-pound Escobedo has three assists and two penalty minutes in seven games with Mississippi this season. A native of Bayside, New York, Escobedo started the season with the Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL, where he registered an assist in two games.

The Sea Wolves get back into action at 7:05 p.m. tonight in the first-ever game against the Reading Royals at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
