BILOXI, Miss. � The Mississippi Sea Wolves dropped a home game last week and bounced back with a road victory to extend their road unbeaten streak to six games during regulation, with a 5-0-1 record over that stretch.
On Wednesday, the Charlotte Checkers edged Mississippi 3-2 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. The Sea Wolves got back into the win column by topping the Texas Wildcatters 4-1 on Sunday at Ford Arena in Beaumont.
After 26 of 72 regular season ECHL games, the Sea Wolves have posted a 12-11-3 record for a total of 27 points. Mississippi is 6-6-1 at home, 6-5-2 on the road, 1-2 in overtime games and 2-1 in shootouts.
Mississippi occupies fifth place in the South Division and sits in ninth place in the 12-team American Conference.
