BILOXI, Miss. � The Mississippi Sea Wolves posted a 1-1-0 record in two games last week in the first-ever visit to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
The host Victoria Salmon Kings downed Mississippi 5-1 on Friday at Bear Mountain Arena, which is located in Victoria suburb of Colwood. On Saturday, the Sea Wolves bounced back with a 4-3 overtime win.
After 20 of 72 regular season ECHL games, the Sea Wolves are 8-10-2 and have earned 18 points. Mississippi is 6-5-1 at home, 2-5-1 on the road, 1-1 in overtime games and 2-1 in shootouts.
Mississippi is in fifth place in the ECHL�s South Division and sits in 10th position in the 12-team American Conference, five points out of a playoff spot.
The Sea Wolves complete their three-game set in Victoria tonight with the opening faceoff beginning at 9 p.m. CT before traveling to Anchorage, Alaska to play games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday against the Aces.
