BILOXI, Miss. � The Mississippi Sea Wolves went 1-1-0 over two games last week after losing on the road and winning at home.
On Friday, the Sea Wolves dropped a 4-1 setback at Pensacola. Mississippi returned home on Saturday to pound Texas 9-2.
After 18 of 72 regular season ECHL games, the Sea Wolves are 7-9-2 and have 16 points. Mississippi is 6-5-1 at home, 1-4-1 on the road, 0-1 in overtime and 2-1 in shootouts.
Mississippi is in fifth place in the South Division and sits in a 10th place tie with Augusta in the American Conference, three points out of a playoff spot.
AIRPLANES, BUSES AND FERRIES � The Sea Wolves embark on a season-high six-game road trip over a 10-day span that will see the team travel over 10,000 miles.
For the first time ever Mississippi visits Victoria, British Columbia in Canada for three games against the Salmon Kings, which is the first ECHL team based outside the United States, beginning Friday. The Sea Wolves remain on the road next week to travel to Anchorage, Alaska for three contests against the Aces in the first-ever matchup between the teams.
Beginning Wednesday, the Sea Wolves will fly from Gulfport, Mississippi to Houston, Texas then onto Seattle, Washington. At that point, the team will hop on a bus and drive for three hours across the border into the Province of British Columbia. The team will then board a ferry to Victoria, which is located on Vancouver Island.
After three games at Bear Mountain Arena in the Victoria suburb of Colwood on Friday, Saturday and Monday, December 13, the Sea Wolves will take to the ferry and then the bus and return to Seattle. Back on the airplane, the team will fly into Anchorage for three games from December 17-19. The team will return back to Mississippi on December 20.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK � Right wing Travis Lisabeth recorded a career-high five assists and six points in Mississippi�s 9-2 whitewash of the Texas Wildcatters on Saturday at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. A native of Langton, Ontario, Lisabeth set a team record with the five helpers and tied the team record of six points, which was originally set by Forbes MacPherson on December 28, 1997 versus Mobile. The 6-foot and 200-pound Lisabeth also registered a plus/minus of +4 in the game and had a +1 in Mississippi�s loss at Pensacola on Friday. The 24-year-old Lisabeth has appeared in 18 games with the Sea Wolves this season, tallying five goals, 16 points and a plus/minus of +6, which is tied for the team lead.
GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK � Goaltender Matt Underhill turned aside 29 shots on Saturday in the Sea Wolves convincing 9-2 victory over the Texas Wildcatters.
