BILOXI, Miss. � The Mississippi Sea Wolves registered one of a possible six points last week, compiling a 0-2-1 record over a stretch of three games in three days.
On Thanksgiving Thursday, the Las Vegas Wranglers edged Mississippi 3-2 in the first-ever meeting between the teams, which was held at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. The Sea Wolves were blanked by the Texas Wildcatters 4-0 on Friday at the Wolves Den, while Mississippi dropped a 5-4 overtime decision on Saturday against the Gwinnett Gladiators in Duluth, Georgia.
After 16 of 72 regular season ECHL games, the Sea Wolves are 6-8-2 with 14 points. Mississippi is 5-5-1 at home, 1-3-1 on the road, 0-1 in overtime and 2-1 in shootouts.
Mississippi is tied for fifth place in the South Division with the Florida and sits in a 10th place tie with the Everblades in the American Conference, just one point out of a playoff spot.
