BILOXI, Miss. � Mississippi Sea Wolves general manager and head coach Bob Woods announced today that the team has waived veteran right wing Bobby Cunningham, while defenseman Chris Cava (KAHV-ah) has been activated off the 7-day injured reserve.
Cunningham, 29, appeared in seven games with Mississippi registering two assists, an even plus/minus rating and eight penalty minutes. The 6-foot-3 and 230-pound Cunningham in his 10th professional season. A native of Lachine, Quebec, Cunningham was signed by the Sea Wolves as a free agent on August 18.
Cava, 24, missed two games after being placed on injured reserve on November 13. A native of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Cava has a plus/minus of -2 and 51 penalty minutes in nine games this season. The 6-foot and 200-pound Cava is in his third season with Mississippi and fourth full year playing pro hockey.

Mississippi returns home for a 5:05 p.m. game tomorrow against the Augusta Lynx at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
