BILOXI, Miss. � The Mississippi Sea Wolves dropped their first two games last week on Tuesday and Friday, before winning their third game of the week on Saturday.
On Tuesday, the Sea Wolves suffered a 5-0 setback to the Pensacola Ice Pilots at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. In the first game of a home-and-home series against Gwinnett, Mississippi fell 6-1 on Friday in Duluth, Georgia before bouncing back and dropping the Gladiators 4-1 on Saturday at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
After eight of 72 regular season games, the Sea Wolves have an overall record of 4-4-0 for eight points. Mississippi is 4-2-0 at home, 0-2-0 on the road and 2-0 in shootouts.
Mississippi is tied for third place in the South Division with Florida and sits in a seventh place tie with the Everblades in the American Conference, three points out of first place, which is occupied by Pee Dee and Gwinnett.

GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK � Goaltender Jason Wolfe won his only appearance last week making a season-high 47 saves as Mississippi handed Gwinnett its first regulation loss of the season, 4-1. The 6-foot-5 and 230-pound Wolfe has played in five games for the Sea Wolves this season. A native of College Park, Maryland, Wolfe has posted a 3-2-0 record, 2.68 goals-against average and .930 save percentage.
