BILOXI, Miss. � The Mississippi Sea Wolves, Lowe�s Home Improvement Warehouse and the Skate Zone in Ocean Springs have partnered for �Wish Kids-n-Wheels,� from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23 to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation�.
The Sea Wolves players will roller blade at the Skate Zone, which is located at 2226 Bienville Blvd. in Ocean Springs. The public is invited to skate with the team for a $5 donation towards the Make-A-Wish Foundation�.
�The Sea Wolves are very committed to being a part of the fabric of the Mississippi Gulf Coast,� Sea Wolves director of community relations Michelle Boynton said. �We consider it a privilege to participate in this event. Make-A-Wish� is a wonderful organization that has a positive impact on the children they serve.�
Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation� has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish� experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors, and entire communities.
The Sea Wolves get back into action at 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday against the Pensacola Ice Pilots at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. The broadcast begins at 6:20 p.m. with the Nextel Pregame Show on ESPN Radio WXBD-AM 1490 and online at msseawolves.com.
