BILOXI, Miss. � The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced today that right wing Steffon Walby (STEHF-ihn WAHL-bee) has been activated off the 7-day injured reserve.
Walby, 31, missed three games while on injured reserve. The 6-foot and 200-pound Walby is tied for the ECHL scoring lead with 47 points, by tallying 18 goals, 29 assists and a plus/minus of +25 over 26 games. Walby is a starter for the Western Conference at the ECHL All-Star Game to be held on January 21 at Peoria, Illinois.
Walby and the Sea Wolves hit the road for three games beginning at 7:05 p.m. tonight against the Pensacola Ice Pilots at the Pensacola Civic Center. The game can be heard beginning at 6:50 p.m. with the Nextel Pregame Show on ESPN Radio WXBD-AM 1490 and online at msseawolves.com.
The Sea Wolves begin a four-game homestand at 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday against the Gwinnett Gladiators at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. It�s the first and only visit to Biloxi for the former Mobile Mysticks, now based in Duluth, Georgia.
