PRINCETON, N.J. - Mississippi defenseman Jim Baxter, Charlotte center David Inman and Peoria left wing Randy Rowe are the C&T Hockey Products ECHL Plus Performers of the Month for December. Inman, Baxter and Rowe were all +13 in December.
Named to the Eastern Conference roster for the 2004 Par-A-Dice ECHL All-Star Game, Inman was plus or even in each of the eight games that he played while helping the Checkers go 6-2-0, including an ECHL season-high six-game road winning streak. Currently on call up to Lowell of the American Hockey League, Inman led Charlotte with 14 points (4g-10a) and had a game-winning goal and a team-high two shorthand goals in December. Selected in the second round (59th overall) by the New York Rangers in the 1999 National Hockey League Draft, Inman leads the Checkers with a +14 plus-minus rating, three shorthand goals, 20 assists, six power-play assists and eight power-play points (2g-6a) and is tied for the team lead with two power-play goals while ranking second in scoring with 27 points (7g-20a) in 24 games.
Selected in the seventh round (180th overall) by Boston in the 1997 National Hockey League Entry Draft and in the seventh round (202nd) overall by Carolina in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, Baxter, who was plus or even in 12 of his 14 games in December, led ECHL defensemen in December with six goals, three game-winning goals, 15 assists and 21 points in 14 games. He ended the month leading ECHL defensemen with 12 goals, four game-winning goals, 30 assists, 42 points and a +21 plus-minus rating. Baxter ranked second among defensemen with six power-play goals, 17 power-play assists and 23 power-play points. He ranked second overall in the ECHL with 30 assists, 17 power-play assists and 23 power-play points and ranked third overall in scoring with 32 points and plus-minus with +21.

He had a five-game goal-scoring streak (8g) and scored a goal in eight of his 12 games. The 23-year-old Rowe, who was plus or even in 10 of his 12 games, ended the month tied for the ECHL lead with 21 goals and tied for second with five game-winning goals and three shorthand goals. In his third season with Peoria, Rowe was tied for third in the league with four shorthand points and ranked 16th in scoring with 33 points (21g-12a) in 29 games.
