BILOXI, Miss. � President Bo McMurphy of the Mississippi Sea Wolves announced on Wednesday, that the team will raise two banners at the home opener on Friday, October 17. The game starts at 7:35 p.m. at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum as the Sea Wolves host the archrival Louisiana IceGators.
The banners will commemorate Mississippi�s Southwest Division Playoff titles in the 2001-02 and 2002-03 seasons.
�The Sea Wolves home opener is going to be twice as special this year,� said McMurphy. �Our ownership, Wolf Pack LLC, ran out of time last season to acknowledge the past playoff success. Now, we can celebrate by raising a couple more banners in the Wolves Den. The Sea Wolves opening night festivities will start the season-long, Party with the Pack.�
