BILOXI, Miss. � Mississippi Sea Wolves director of hockey operations and coach Bob Woods announced today, defenseman Chris Allen has been traded to the Trenton Titans, completing an earlier trade.
Allen, 25, completes the trade that was made on December 5, 2002, which brought Kent Davyduke (DAH-vih-dewk) to Mississippi from Trenton for futures. Allen split the season between the Sea Wolves and Greensboro Generals, totaling eight goals and 16 assists in 62 games. The 6-foot-3 and 205-pound Allen was selected by the Florida Panthers in the third round (60th overall) of the 1996 National Hockey League Entry Draft. He played two NHL games with Florida, posting two penalty minutes.
