BILOXI, Miss. � Mississippi Sea Wolves president Bo McMurphy announced on Monday that Rob �Doogie� Flahiff (FLAHF) has re-signed as equipment manager for the 2003-04 season.
Flahiff returns to the organization for his fifth season and 15th year in professional hockey. His pro experience also includes the Swedish Elite League (Leksands IF), Swedish Allsvenskan (Bj�rkl�ven), Swiss NLA (Ambri-Piotta) as well as the American Hockey League (Capital District Islanders) and the International Hockey League (Grand Rapids Griffins and San Francisco Spiders). Flahiff has worked at four NHL training camps (New York Islanders and Ottawa Senators).
"It�s exciting to be back and continue to work for the Sea Wolves ownership, Wolf Pack, LLC,� said Flahiff. �I had a wonderful relaxing summer and now I�m ready to pick up where we left off last season.�
�It�s great to have Doogie return,� said McMurphy. �He brings a lot of experience and does a terrific job for us.�
The Sea Wolves season opener is Friday, October 17 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum against the Louisiana IceGators.
