Byfuglien, 21, split last season between the East Coast Hockey League Florida Everblades and Roanoke. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound native of Roseau, Minnesota played a total of 64 games, scoring five goals, adding six assists for 11 points and 120 penalty minutes.
