BILOXI, Miss. � Mississippi Sea Wolves coach Bob Woods announced today defenseman Chris Cava (CAH-vah) has been activated off the 7-day injured reserve, while defenseman Austin Miller has been placed on the 7-day IR.
Cava, 22, was placed on the 7-day injured reserve on October 21. In five games with Mississippi this season, the 5-foot-11, 200-pound native of Thunder Bay, Ontario has two assists, a plus/minus of +3 and 12 penalty minutes.
Miller, 24, has scored one goal and picked up one assist to go along with six penalty minutes in eight games. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound native of Vestal, New York also has a plus/minus of +4.
Mississippi takes to the ice tonight at 7:05 p.m. against the Pensacola Ice Pilots at the the Pensacola Civic Center. The Sea Wolves return home on Sunday at 5:05 p.m. to host the Louisiana IceGators. An adult purchasing an individual ticket at Sunday home games, receive one FREE ticket for a child 12 and under.
