BILOXI, Miss. � The Mississippi Sea Wolves started the week with a 2-0 shutout over Jackson on Friday at the Wolves Den, dropped a 2-1 home decision against Pensacola on Saturday and fell 3-2 in the shootout at Jackson on Sunday.
The Sea Wolves overall record sits at 9-4-2, for a total of 20 points and second place in the Southwest Division. At home, Mississippi has posted a record of 6-3-1. The Sea Wolves are 3-1-1 on the road.

The first game of three all at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum this season. Last year, Mississippi won three of four games against Columbus, including the only game at the Wolves Den, 6-5 in the shootout on March 10.
Former Sea Wolves forward Jerome Marois will be playing against Mississippi, for the first time. During the regular season last year, Marois collected 12 goals, 10 assists, 22 points and 47 penalty minutes. In the playoffs, Marois scored five goals, including three-game winners and two assists, plus four penalty minutes.

Game 4 in the battle for the Nextel Cup. Sea Wolves lead the season series, five points to two. The last game at Jackson was Sunday, in which the Bandits prevailed 3-2, in the shootout.
Dave Paradise leads the way for Mississippi against Jackson, by scoring four goals and adding one assist over the first three head-to-head games. The Bandits� Jeff Bes has two goals and one assists, which is tops for Jackson against Mississippi.

The Sea Wolves have had the Kingfish number this season, winning all three games in the battle for the Coca-Cola Cup.
Mississippi won the last game at the Wolves Den, 4-1 on October 27. Sea Wolves forward Cody Bowtell has scored two game-winning goals against Baton Rouge this season and leads Mississippi with five goals against the Kingfish.
Steffon Walby has two goals and six assists against Baton Rouge this year, tops in the points parade against the Kingfish. Bryan Richardson has three goals to lead the way for
Baton Rouge against Mississippi.
Player of the Week:
Forward Dave Paradise tallied three goals, all on the power play, over the three games last week. The 6-foot, 190-pound native of St. Paul, Minnesota scored both of the Sea Wolves goals on Friday, in Mississippi�s 2-0 win over Jackson. The 29-year-old registered his team-leading 10th goal of the season at Jackson on Sunday, in the Sea Wolves 3-2 shootout loss. Along with his 10 goals, Paradise also has 10 assists, 20 points and a plus-9 rating through 15 games.
Goaltender of the Week:
Sean Matile made a spectacular Sea Wolves debut on Friday against Jackson. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound native of Vernon, British Columbia turned away all 35 shots to blank the Bandits 2-0. The 27-year-old started the season on the 7-day injured reserve.
