Scott Named CCM Rookie Of The Month For February |
PRINCETON, N.J. - Mississippi forward Mike Scott is the CCM East Coast Hockey League Rookie of the Month for February.
In 14 games during the month of February, the 25-year-old Scott led the Sea Wolves with two game-winning goals and tied for the team and ECHL lead with 22 points as Mississippi went 9-5-0 and moved into first place in the Southwest Division. Scott was second on the team with five power-play goals and 14 assists while tying for second with eight goals. The 6-foot-1 and 195-pound Scott had seven multiple-point games in February and has 15 multiple-point games in 2002-03.
Scott along with his Mississippi teammates hit the ice tonight at 7:05 p.m. at the Baton Rouge Riverside Centroplex to take on the Baton Rouge Kingfish.
