More NHL Signed Items Available Online |
 BILOXI, Miss. � The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced that the team has placed more than 20 hockey-related items online with all proceeds benefiting the �Rebuilding and Restoration Fund� to help the ECHL team return to the ice in October for its 10th Anniversary Season.
Biloxi suffered a direct hit from Hurricane Katrina and the team�s home arena, the Mississippi Coast Coliseum, suffered extensive flood damage including the team offices and locker rooms as well as the ice-making equipment and two Zambonis.
Many teams in the National Hockey League offered their support and donated items for the auction. Among the auction items is from Michael Ryder, who is a former Sea Wolves forward, Montreal Canadiens signed puck. There are Mississippi promotional hockey sticks pulled from the Hurricane Katrina flood waters and signed by the Boston Bruins, Chicago Blackhawks, Dallas Stars, Los Angeles Kings and Phoenix Coyotes. In addition, Atlanta Thrashers goaltender Kari Lehtonen and forward Marc Savard signed jerseys.
