Sea Wolves Games Primed For Airwaves

BILOXI, Miss. � Mississippi Sea Wolves president Bo McMurphy announced on Tuesday that Mississippi Media, Triad Broadcasting stations WXBD-AM 1490 and WTNI-AM 1640 will combine to air all of the Sea Wolves 2003-04 games.

Weekday games from Monday to Friday will be broadcast on ESPN Radio WXBD-AM 1490. Saturday and Sunday games will air on WTNI-AM 1640.

Broadcaster Mike Kelly returns for his fourth season to call the action. All games will feature a 15-minute pregame and postgame show.

The weekly radio show �Your Home Team� will also air on WXBD-AM 1490 on Wednesday�s from 7-8 p.m. beginning September 17.

The on-site location of the show will be announced at a later date.

�Triad Broadcasting continues to be the sports radio leader along the Gulf Coast,� said McMurphy. �We have a tremendous relationship with their staff and we are looking forward to another great partnership this season.�

�It�s very pleasing for us to have the Sea Wolves return because it adds a lot to our sports programming,� said Ken Allen, WTNI / WXBD program director. �People really enjoy listening to sports. The Sea Wolves are an integral part of the community and it�s a big deal to have them back on WTNI and WXBD.�

Mississippi opens its eighth ECHL season on Friday, October 17 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum against the Louisiana IceGators.
