Everblades, Fans To Support Sea Wolves |
BILOXI, Miss. � The Florida Everblades of the ECHL announced that they will wear Mississippi Sea Wolves jerseys for their game against the Pensacola Ice Pilots tomorrow at Germain Arena in Estero, Florida.
The jerseys will be auctioned off following the game along with memorabilia from National Hockey League teams including signed jerseys from Eric Staal of the Carolina Hurricanes, Steve Yzerman of the Detroit Red Wings, Roberto Luongo of the Florida Panthers and Mario Lemieux of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The proceeds will benefit the Sea Wolves, who were unable to play in 2005-06 due to Hurricane Katrina. The Mississippi Coast Coliseum suffered extensive flooding to its front office, locker rooms, ice making equipment and two Zambonis. The team will return to the ice in October of 2006. |
