BRIDGEPORT, Conn. � The Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League announced that they have signed defenseman Mike Jarmuth, who in 2004-05 became the first Mississippi player ever to be named to the ECHL All-Rookie Team.
The 23-year-old Jarmuth had 36 points (13g-23a) and played in all 72 regular season games and all four Kelly Cup Playoff games for the Sea Wolves.
The 6-foot and 205-pound Jarmuth, who was assigned to Mississippi after attending training camp with Rochester, played four seasons at Western Michigan, scoring 69 points (13g-56a) in 143 career games.
