 BILOXI, Miss. � Mississippi Sea Wolves Professional Hockey announced today that for a third straight year the team will play a pair of preseason road games in Estero, Florida at Germain Arena against the Everblades at 6:30 p.m. CT on Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15.
Florida has made it to the Kelly Cup Finals the last two seasons, losing in 2005 to the Trenton Titans in six games and falling in five games against the Idaho Steelheads in 2004.
In 2004-05, the Sea Wolves went 1-2-2 against the Everblades and dropped the two preseason games.
The teams meet 10 times during the 2005-06 regular season. There will be five regular season games played between the teams at home and five contests on the road, beginning with the Sunday, October 30 game at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
Mississippi opens its 10th Anniversary season on the road at Pensacola on October 22.
The Sea Wolves home opener is at 7:35 p.m. on Friday, October 28 against Texas at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
