Adams, 27, scored five goals and added 12 assists for a total of 17 points in 63 games last season with the Pee Dee (Florence) Pride, while accumulating 122 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound native of Scarborough, Ontario enters his fourth full season of professional hockey.

B.J. is a steady stay-at-home type defenseman with a lot of experience, said Woods. Hes comes highly recommended from a number of sources around the ECHL and were excited to acquire his rights.
