The Mississippi Sea Wolves, ECHL affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning, introduced the Give and Go Program for the 2007-08 season, which will make it possible for underprivileged children and families to attend Sea Wolves home games during the season.

“We receive an incredible number of ticket requests from non-profit organizations, and we were able to put this program together so that we could fulfill as many of those requests as possible,” stated Sea Wolves president, Bill Yates.  “It is a program that allows us to address the need for pro sports entertainment that these Gulf Coast charities are asking for.”

Barbara Ishee, owner of Doorways, Inc. in Gulfport with her husband Don, and founding sponsor of the program said, “We have always enjoyed the excitement of Sea Wolves hockey and we realize that there are many folks in the area who wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to root for their home team.”  She adds, “We’re so proud to have helped start this program with the Sea Wolves.”

The Give and Go program is sponsored by local businesses and puts ticket vouchers into the hands of non-profit organizations on the coast.  These vouchers can be exchanged for reserved seats to any Sea Wolves home game during the 2007-08 season.  The sponsors of the program also receive a significant amount of exposure with the team throughout the season.

On Saturday, October 27th the Sea Wolves will celebrate their return to home ice as the team begins their 10th season in pursuit of the ECHL's Kelly Cup.  Season tickets are now on sale and sponsorship packages are available by calling 228.275.WOLF (9653).
